Pace on Main is within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, parks, and entertainment. Located in the River District, generally consisting of the traditional central business district, historic tobacco warehouse district and manufacturing area, and contiguous areas of Danville, Virginia, this area has been the commercial and administrative heart of the city since the 1790s.

The City of Danville is in the process of implementing a development plan to revitalize the River District, which includes a pedestrian walkway along the Dan River and a number of amenities. The city envisions the site as a venue for many local fairs, festivals and other events.

Pace on Main is located in Danville’s most walkable neighborhoods.  In fact, Pace on Main is better positioned to the shopping and dining options of the River District than any other apartment complex in Danville.

In addition to shopping and dining options, Pace on Main is also conveniently located nearby the following:

Riverwalk Trail
The 9 mile Riverwalk on the Dan may define the City of Danville for the 21st century. Historically, the Dan River was used as a catalyst for industry. Now, the river’s value rests in its natural beauty and recreational opportunities. With the ability to lure walkers, bikers and moms with strollers through parks, historic sites and businesses, this trail along the Dan River links Danville’s past to its future.  For a full map of the trail, click here.

Pace on Main is also a quick drive or less than a mile walk across the bridge to the brand new YMCA facility. This facility features a swimming pool, forty cardio machines, and over 100 brand new pieces of fitness equipment.  No matter your preferred method of exercise, the Pace Building puts you in a location that allows you to achieve your fitness goals.  For membership information, check out the YMCA website here.
